MINUTES of FAF 9/1/2009 Business MEETING

Meeting was called to order at 11:00 A.M. by President Maureen Grover  - Moment of silence and flag salute followed.

Recording Secretary, Jack Hickey then read the minutes of the 8/4/09 Business meeting and 8/24/2009 Executive Board
Corrections were made as follows: $22 instead of $16.95 for Over 80 luncheon.  The Executive Board selected David Desideri for the Nominating committee instead of Lorraine Guinesso.  Minutes approved as amended..

Bruce Utecht reported on VMSC activities.

Correspondence Sec. Barbara Salsedo no report

2nd V.P. Dolores Siegfried  gave her report with health tips.

Exec. Treas. Chito de Leon gave the financial report - balance $5746.18

Treas. Rudy Grana reported $47.38.

First V.P. Ethel Walter reported on the dance and recognized Maureen Grover for her contribution of prizes.

Sunshine - Jeanne Baxter - delivered some corn which she called a sleeper.

Membership Sec. Frances Benedetto  no report

Publicity Chair — Corkie Limmer — no report.

Senior Forum - Hector Berglund - reported on upcoming Daly City event.

Entertainment chair — Chito —no report

Dennis Berglund  no report

Lorraine Guinesso and Marilyn Centoni were appointed to the Nominating committee.

Meeting unofficially adjourned around 11:45.
