MINUTES of FAF 8/4/2009 Business MEETING

Meeting was called to order at 10:45 A.M. by President Maureen Grover  - Moment of silence and flag salute followed.

Recording Secretary, Jack Hickey then read the minutes of the 7/7/09 Business meeting and 7/30/2009 Executive Board
Minutes approved as read.

Motion to amend Policy regarding Lifetime Membership pre-requisites passed by Executive Committee on 7/30/2009  was presented to the General Membership for approval.  The motion passed unanimously.

Correspondence Sec. Barbara Salsedo -reported on job opportunities.

2nd V.P. Dolores Siegfried  absent.

Exec. Treas. Chito de Leon gave the financial report - balance $5467.70

Treas. Rudy Grana reported $47.38.

First V.P. Ethel Walter absent.

Sunshine - Jeanne Baxter - Reported on a loyal but frugal Italian Catholic wife who honored her diseased husbands wishes by placing  a check for his assets in his casket

Membership Sec. Frances Benedetto  no report
