MINUTES of FAF 3/3/2009 Business MEETING

Meeting was called to order at 11:00 A.M. by Pres. Maureen Grover - Moment of silence and flag salute followed.

Recording Secretary, Jack Hickey called the roll.

Recording Secretary, Jack Hickey then read the minutes of the 2//09 board meeting. They were approved as read with minor corrections. Jack apologized for not having prepared the Minutes of the last Exec. Board Meeting, but promised to post the audio recording on his website link to FAF.

Correspondence Sec. Barbara Salsedo reported on Senior Focus advisories on caregiving.

Exec. Treas. Chito de Leon gave the financial report. No federal bailout indicated

Treas. Rudy Grana excused

First V.P. Ethel Walter repeated suggestions from Exec. Meeting re: $5 or $10 bingo.

Laminated Photo I.D. Cards for Members is a huge success. Many of the bowling members have requested and received cards. A modest donation request of $1 is covering material costs with excess going to FAF.

New business - Fund raising was a topic. Mascot naming contest was discussed. Directors to return with ideas at the next Exec. Meeting.

Jack Hickey discussed his vision of presenting artwork and photos via the movie projector.
